TNT Super Series champion to be crowned this Saturday at Dunn Tire Raceway Park

CANFIELD, ONTARIO (September 28, 2009) The 2009 Joe's Transmission TNT Super Series
champion will be determined this Saturday October 3rd when the series returns to Dunn Tire
Raceway Park (DTRP) in Lancaster, New York. A total of 45 racers have battled all summer
long through 11 events and 55 rounds of competition with some of the best side-by-side
sportsman drag racing in the southern Ontario / western New York area.
Scott Jahren Paint presents the season finale and
the competition is expected to be as tough as ever.
Series title sponsor, Joe Boniferro is extremely pleased with the third season. "We've supported this series from the beginning because I knew there was talent in these local guys. This year alone, our guys have taken home multiple Ironmen and one has a shot at a world championship!" And this weekend will be no different - There are eight drivers racing for the top

STRATFORD, ONTARIO (September 22, 2009) - Despite not
winning an event, the K&K Racing Team captured the inaugural NAPA Auto Parts sponsored
Quick 32 Sportsman Series Point Award Championship in Cayuga, Ontario at Toronto Motorsports
Park this past weekend.
 Sitting in third position going into the final weekend, the K&K Team
overtook point’s leader Jamie Bridge of Napanee, Ontario to claim the first Championship
Point Award Series.
The key to their season was consistency. “We never won an event, but we went
rounds every race and won the rounds we needed to win. We didn’t win any of the battles but we
won the war,” stated driver Kevin Wicke. read

Championship
CAYUGA, ONTARIO (September 20, 2009) - Bruce Boland of
Stoney Creek, Ontario, defeated Mark Nielsen of Brantford, Ontario, in the final round to win
his fourth PMRA Pro Modified event of the season and captured his third consecutive Pro
Modified Racing Association Point Award Series Championship on Sunday.
 The PMRA Challenge presented by Motorsport 1320 on the Cayuga Dragway at
Toronto Motorsports Park in Cayuga, Ontario was the sixth and the final event of the 2009
season.
Boland ran a 6.121-second, 232.47-mph in his 1967 Chevy Nova SS in the final
to defeat Nielsen's 1968 Yenko Camaro who finished second in the Championship Point Award

Spectacular Hot August Nationals presented by Ideal Supply & NAPA Auto Parts will return to
the Grand Bend Motorplex this coming weekend, August 15-16.
 Continual rains hampered the race, and track officials and organizers had no
choice but the use the scheduled rain date.
Returning to Grand Bend after competing in round three during the recent

PMRA champion continues to dominate.
Bruce Boland of Hamilton, Ontario, won the latest round in Pro Modified
Racing Association, the PMRA Challenge Presented by Motorsports 1320 at the Grand Bend
Motorplex Sunday.
 Running in conjunction with the 10th Annual IHRA MOPAR Canadian Nationals,
Boland qualified number one for the race, the third in the 2009 PMRA tour. In his B&B
Racing 1967 Chevy Nova, the 2008 champion paced himself through the field for his second
consecutive win of the season. With his victory, Boland became the second driver in PMRA
history to win his third event, after Mike Stawicki of Medina, New

CAYUGA, ONTARIO (June 14, 2009) – It was an afternoon
of racing attrition, but Bruce Boland claimed his first PMRA victory of the year in the Fifth
Annual Family Weekend Spectacular at the Cayuga Dragway of Toronto Motorsports
Park.
 Boland, driving the B&B Racing 1967 Chevy Nova, met with Mark Nielsen of
Brantford, Ontario in the final, but Nielsen could not engage reverse gear in his 1968
Camaro after his burnout, giving the win to Boland.
Boland ran a solo final with a 6.377-second, 221.78-mph pass.
Ironically, Nielsen met Boland in the final only after his semi-final
opponent, Eric Latino of Scarborough, Ontario, could not make the round after suffering engine
woes.
Boland was to meet with Adam Croker of Perth, Australia, in his semi-final,
but Croker damaged the engine in his new G-Force Race Cars Camaro in the previous round and
could not make the semi. read

qualifying completed, Tony Piselli of Woodbridge, Ontario paced the field today in round two of
the 2009 PMRA Tour at the Cayuga Dragway at Toronto Motorsports Park.
 Driving the Skull Motorsports 1963 Corvette owned by Ralph Andreacchi and Tony
Piselli, Piselli set low elapsed time of the Fifth Annual Family Weekend Spectacular with
a solid 6.200-second, 230.49-mph pass on the Cayuga quarter-mile. Qualifying second was
Ike Maier of Tottenham, Ontario, with a 6.243-second, 230.65-mph clocking in the Maier

 Australian Adam Croker will be at the Cayuga Dragway at Toronto Motorsports
Park testing his new G-Force Race Cars Camaro.
“I’ve been to North America before, but this is the first time I’ll be on a
race track,” said the native of Perth, Australia, who has raced since 1996.
Croker will be making initial passes in his new 1968 Camaro from the G-Force
Race Cars shops in Western New York, which is powered by a Mike Stawicki Racing Built 521-cubic
inch Billet Brad Anderson (BAE) Supercharged Hemi, coupled to a Lenco three-speed. The car will
also feature a DMPE M5 14-71 supercharger and DMPE fuel system tweaked by

CAYUGA, ONTARIO (June 1, 2009) - When Ike Maier won
the recent Victoria Day Weekend PMRA race at the Cayuga Dragway, he became the 15th different
winner in 21 Pro Modified Racing Association races held since 2005.
Maier also became the sixth different winner at the track, which is the
oldest
 operating drag strip in Canada.
While the Pro Modified Racing Association has raced at many tracks
throughout Ontario, Quebec, and New York State, the Cayuga Dragway at Toronto Motorsports Park
has been one of the mainstays in the Pro Modified series. Carl Spiering of Jordan Station,
Ontario, beat Al Billes of Barrie, Ontario to win the very first PMRA race back in May of

ELMA, NEW YORK (May 31, 2009) With the first three events for 2009 in the books, the Joe's Transmission TNT Hot Rod Super Series heads back to Dunn Tire Raceway Park (DTRP) on Friday June 5 presented by JanCen Motorsports. This is the fourth event in the twelve race sportsman series for 2009. "We're very excited to have the folks at JanCen involved with the series this year. They are an automotive icon in the western New York area and a complete fit with everything the TNT series is all about," said Ted Barnes, TNT Series Director.

Heading into the heat of June and racing at night should provide for excellent
track conditions. "Our current record is 27 cars and we're looking to break through
that at this event - which means an even bigger payday for the finalists," added Ted.

Midlife Crisis Corvette hoping for successful PMRA 2009

ROCHESTER, NY (May 28, 2009) – They’re not quite
ready, but the Pro Modified team of Joe Caruso and Mike Cusimano plan to make a strong effort
in this season’s Pro Modified Racing Association’s 2009 season.
Although car owner Joe Caruso mentioned recently the engine for the 1994
Corvette is
 still being tweaked and the team missed the PMRA season opener at Toronto
Motorsports Park in Cayuga, Ontario, the Rochester, New York-based team will be in the
hunt for the rest of the year, starting with the Fifth Annual Family Weekend Spectacular
at Cayuga.
“Unfortunately, we weren’t ready for the opener at Cayuga,” Caruso
mentioned. “We’re just getting things back together. But will we be back? Absolutely. We’re
looking forward to it.”
The Midlife Crisis team Corvette, driven by Mike Cusimano, runs a Jan-Cen
Racing Engines Rodeck powerplant, prepared by fellow Pro Modified racer Mike
Janis.
“We’re making a few adjustments with the car right now,” Caruso continued.
“And Mike (Janis) has the engine and he’s putting some more steam in it.”
The engine in the Stroupe Race Cars Corvette runs a PSI supercharger, and a
Lenco three-speed is mated to it. A Jan-Cen Enderly fuel system is also employed.
Caruso and Cusimano did not race in all PMRA events in 2008. A highlight of
their season was nailing down number one qualifier at Dunn Tire Raceway Park in Lancaster, New
York last year, and getting into the final on the eighth-mile track, taking runner-up to fellow
New Yorker Mike Stawicki’s G-Force Race Cars entry.

BRESLAU, ONTARIO (May 26, 2009) – He’s been racing a
long time, and has returned to quarter-mile action after taking some time away from the
sport.
Driving his 1957 Chevy in the new Quick 32 Sportsman Series, Paul Martin
said he is
 looking forward to the six-race series which began May 15-17 at Cayuga
Dragway.
“This deal is real sweet,” he said. “It will be great with no travel
involved and a group of high-caliber guys to race with.”
Qualifying his Shoebox Chevy eighth in the 12-car field on the doorcar side
of the series, Martin went to the second round in the opening event. After this first of six
events for 2009, he is sixth in points.
A former oval track racer, Martin said he went to the former drag strip at
Georgetown in the late 1960s. The Pro Stocks were racing there, and after watching teams like
Sox and Martin and other early proponents of the class, he decided to park his Chevelle Super
Late Model and go drag racing.
“I was amazed with the drag cars,” he said. “I said at the time that this is
what I’m going to be doing.”

CAYUGA, ONTARIO (May 17, 2009) – It was Ike
Maier’s day.
The Tottenham, Ontario racer qualified his 1963 Corvette Pro Modified
number one for the PMRA season opener, and stayed on top during the weekend to win his
first Pro Modified Racing Association event.
“We finally won something,” said Maier after his win. “But I have to
thank the team. I just get in and drive.”
Maier was pitted against Jack Grainy of North Tonawanda, New York, in
the final, and
 although Grainy cut a better light, his 1967 Camaro suffered tire shake and
he had to let off. Maier’s final was a 6.158-second, 230.49-mph run against the
7.435-second, 141.42-mph clocking of Grainy, who qualified second in the eight-car
field.
“I certainly have to thank Kirk (team crew chief Kirk Silbermann) and
Carl (Spiering of ERD). I wouldn’t be here without them.” read more>

Toronto Motorsports Park Victoria Day Challenge

CAYUGA, ONTARIO (May 17, 2009) – T.J. Schippling won the first Quick 32
Sportsman Series presented by NAPA Auto Parts at the Cayuga Dragway of Toronto Motorsports Park
over the Victoria Day Weekend Challenge.
“It’s been a great weekend,” said the Shakespeare, Ontario racer. “We
kept the same game plan for the weekend, and the track was great.”
Driving his Top Dragster Schippling ran a 7.418-second, 171.01-mph pass
in the final to win over Jeff Gabel of Stratford, Ontario in his 1975 Duster Top Sportsman,
who posted a 7.657-second, 175.483-mph clocking. Schippling was dialed in with a
7.38-second index and Gabel was running with a 7.62-second index.
Schippling was pleased and enthusiastic about the new series, which held
its inaugural event at Toronto Motorsports Park. The series pairs Top Dragsters against
each other, and Top Sportsman against each other, with the finalist in each class going up

the Pro Modified Racing Association gets underway this coming weekend, May 15-17 at the Cayuga

for 2009.
 With speeds up to 240 mph and quarter-mile times in the low six-second
range, the PMRA offers fans exciting and colorful racing competition.

DeMotte, Indiana (April 15, 2009) – Jason Hamstra is a
quiet racer who lets his driving do the talking.
 The 21-year old Indiana native recently won the National Guard American Drag
Racing League’s Pro Extreme class at the ADRL Hardee’s Georgia Drags V in Valdosta,
GA.
It was the first ADRL national event win for Hamstra.
“We just try to run consistent and get off the line quick,” Hamstra said
after the race. “That’s what wins races.”
Up against some fierce competition on the eighth-mile track, including Jason
Scruggs, Frankie Taylor, and Mike Janis, Hamstra qualified number three with a 3.81-second,

PMRA Pro Modifieds to be part of IHRA MOPAR Canadian Nationals at Grand Bend Motorplex

Three events are scheduled for Cayuga Dragway, one at St. Thomas Dragway, and
two at the Grand Bend Motorplex. Four of the events will also feature the Quick 32 Sportsman Series
presented by NAPA Auto Parts, offering fans a great show of drag racing action.
“We’ve put together an impressive line-up this season,” said PMRA Director
of Operations Bruce Mehlenbacher. “The Quick 32 Sportsman Series races will enhance the PMRA
racing, offering fans a great racing package. And we are very proud to be able to compete in a
PMRA race during the IHRA MOPAR Canadian Nationals at the Grand Bend Motorplex.”

Team to Take Center Stage as a Feature Attraction at the 2009 Toronto International Spring Motorcycle Show April 4-5.
(March 18, 2009) Dorchester, ON – Just two and a half weeks from now, on the weekend of April 4th and 5th, Geoff Pollard and the 1500 horsepower Pollard NitroSports Top Fuel Motorcycle he pilots, will take center stage as a featured part of the 2009 Toronto International Spring Motorcycle Show hosted at the International Center.
| The event, which will feature new motorcycle dealer displays, product vendors, information resources for new riders, custom bikes and a swap meet component, will attract nearly 20,000 visitors throughout its two day duration. Bruce Boland makes it official, returns to PMRA for 2009
Two-time champion back for new Pro Modified Racing Association season with 1967 Nova Pro Modified

HAMILTON, ONTARIO (March 18, 2009) – He’s
back.
After toying with retirement from the Pro Modified Racing Association,
Hamilton, Ontario’s Bruce Boland will return to PMRA competition for the upcoming
season.
The two-time PMRA champion will return for the entire season of Pro Modified
racing, and will be in the hunt for his third consecutive title.
After selling his B&B Racing Corvette-bodied car, Boland thought about becoming a
spectator, but he purchased the race car, hauler, and spares from former PMRA competitor Larry
Sinke of Welland, Ontario, and will be driving the former Hammer Racing 1967 Chevy Nova. He had
said he was going to return to the PMRA for the next season late in 2008, but he has now made
his intentions official.

ORILLIA,
ONTARIO (March 16, 2009) - Melanie Simmons can’t wait to get on the
track.
The 24-year old is looking forward to competing
in the new Quick 32 Sportsman Series presented by NAPA Auto Parts of drag racing for
2009.
“I’m excited,” said the Barrie office administrator recently. “This new
series could not come at a better time. We needed a change.”
“I love the idea of racing at different tracks,” she continued. “And this
series will be good for my sponsors.”
Starting in Junior Dragsters when she was 11 years old, Simmons has spent
many a weekend at the track. For the past several years she has driven her Top Dragster, a car
capable of times in the sub-eight second range at speeds up to 175 mph.
