J&S Collision "Closest to the Index" award is new

for 2009 TNT Hot Rod Season

Specialty awards will send more racers home with something in their pocket!

TILLSONBURG, ONTARIO (March 3, 2009)  With the 2009 event schedule now set, the Joe's Transmission TNT Hot Rod Super Series is pleased to announce some enhancements for the upcoming season. In addition to the established round money and guaranteed payouts, Specialty Awards are being developed with the intention of having more racers share in the payout. The J&S COLLISION CLOSEST TO THE INDEX - FIRST ROUND LOSER award will be awarded at each and every TNT event in 2009. This award will pay $50 cash to the competitor who runs closest to 10.90 without going under AND loses in first round. "This gives the guy who runs right where he should but ends up losing the round...something for his efforts," said Jamie Tupper of J&S Collision.

"We went to last year's TNT banquet and had a great time," commented Jamie. "Once I saw the following of racers and the level of competition in this series, I just had to support it." In fact, Jamie is hoping to have a 1968 Camaro ready for the start of the 2009 TNT points chase.

The closest to the index specialty award is a good fit for J&S Collision. Jamie and his wife Sheila along with co-driver Kerry Kershaw run a 2007 M&M dragster in quite a few bracket races throughout the area and in the eastern United States - and his car is about as consistent as it gets. Powered by a 565 big block Chevy, the rail runs the quarter mile in 7.65 seconds @178 mph.

In business for ten years, J&S Collision is located 3 kilometres west of Tillsonburg, Ontario. Jamie, a 28 year veteran of the trade, along with his staff of eight specialize in collision repair to all makes and models. Give Jamie and his team a call at 519-688-0246 for all your southern Ontario automotive collision repair needs.

More specialty awards are currently being developed and negotiated. Stay tuned to www.tntsuperseries.com for details!
